The Roast-Meister

Meet Roger, the Roast-Meister. Roger has been developing and honing his unique Forge Roasting process for nearly eight years. What started as a fun, backyard hobby has evolved into the Old Village Roastery. Because there is very little control of the temperature of an open wood fire, the forge roasting  process requires a great deal of skill and intuition.

The Renaissance Man

Meet Larry, the Old Village’s Renaissance Man. While the Roast-Meister may have command over the science of Forge Roasting, ….Larry brings with him a unique artistic flair to the creation of the Old Village, earning him the title of Renaissance Man. Larry set out to create, not merely a beautiful …. Rather set out to create a memorable experience for visitors, earning him the prestigious title of Renaissance Man of the Old Village.

The Bean Counter

In modern society, a bean-counter might refer to a book-keeper or an accountant. Meet the Old Village Roastery’s Bean-Counter. Cheryl literally counts the beans during the bagging process to ensure accuracy. She can often be seen at the scale adding one bean at a time to ensure that the weight is accurate. This is probably how the “bean-counter” originated.

The Coffee Alchemist

Meet Nikki, the Alchemist. Nikki provides the magic Just short of something magical. Brewing coffee the perfect cup of coffee is nothing short of magical.
